A National OEM Apprenticeship Programme Information & Networking Event takes place on Wednesday 1st June 2022 at the College of Further Education and Training, Raheen Campus, Co Limerick.
Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) are a group of Irish companies, mostly in the Engineering Sector, that provide innovative and practical solutions to a broad range of customer needs. Many are market leaders in their field, with products that are for use in a broad range of areas including, the agricultural, transportation, materials handling, quarry, construction equipment, food processing, recycling handling and allied industries.
This event is an opportunity for you to learn more about the OEM Apprenticeship programme and the many benefits it could offer your business. You will also hear about the grants and bursaries available to participating employers. Furthermore, there will be an opportunity to network with current programme employers and hear how they are utilising this apprenticeship to future-proof their business.
Speaking at this event will be industry leaders from OEM companies, Abbey Machinery, Combilift, Jungheinrich, Leidos, Tanco and Moffett Automated Storage.
The Level 6 National OEM Apprenticeship develops skills across a broad range of areas including Mechanics, Pneumatics, Electrical, Hydraulics, Engineering Drawings, Mechatronics, PLCs and Robotics. Upon completion of this three-year programme, the apprentice will be able to assemble, test, maintain, troubleshoot and service a wide range of products and machinery. In addition, they will also develop skills in areas such as Operations Management, Team Leadership, and Communications.
