The University of Galway invite you to 'Engineering Our Future: Family Fun Day' on 4th March 2023 in Alice Perry Engineering Building at University of Galway to celebrate Engineering as part of the Engineers Week 2023!
This Family Fun Day will provide plenty of science and engineering shows, workshops and hands-on activities that will inspire young (and older!!) people and help them learn about the world around us!
This is a free event. Most activities do not require pre-booking. For some shows and workshops, there are a limited number of tickets that can be booked in advance using the links given in the table below. All shows and workshops will have free tickets available on the day on a first-come-first-served basis.
Free parking for visitors will be available on 4th March 2023 throughout the main campus (staff & student parking). Please park in designated places only. A campus map is available at https://www.universityofgalway.ie/buildings/maps/
Zinc cafe will be open during the day in the Alice Perry Engineering building for teas, coffees and light snacks. If you would like to bring a packed lunch, there are places available to sit inside in the Alice Perry Engineering building and outside.

Construction Jobs Expo will attract a wide variety of attendees looking for new challenges or hoping to take a career in the construction sector to the next level. These will include carpenters, joiners, 15,200 electricians, 13,900 plasterers and tillers, 11,800 plumbers, 9,400 painters and decorators and bricklayers amongst others.
