The Irish Green Building Council is hosting Build Green Now on 6th May 2022 from
9:00 am - 4:00 pm at The Gibson Hotel. Members will get together, network with industry leaders and policy makers, and design pathways for a low carbon future. The past two years has seen ESG and sustainability rise to the top of the priority list of every organisation working in the built environment supply chain and you will hear how members are now dealing with this.
IGBC will be setting out our road map to net zero for the Built Environment with the launch of the #Buildinglife roadmap. IGBC will also set out the Irish industry agreed definition of Net Zero in the built environment in Ireland to end confusion on what it means. You will hear opinions on the implementation of the roadmap from industry leaders. The key policy makers in Europe, Government and representatives from the main political parties will discuss the implementation of the climate action plan over the coming 8 years.
The Irish Green Building Council – IGBC, is a non-profit organisation that was launched in 2011 with organisations and businesses from the entire value chain of the built environment. These include universities, professional institutes, NGOs local authorities, contractors, architects, engineers, energy companies, leading national and transnational companies.
